The wise old owl story

the wise old owl

A peaceful forest

This is the story of the wise old owl. In a peaceful forest, which was far away from the city, once there lived a wise old owl in a big oak tree.
The owl was very quiet and always try to spend his time watching and listening to everybody.

Watching and learning

The owl saw how the squirrel collected nuts, how the ants worked together, and how the birds chirped in the morning.
He always used to listen and watch them, but didn’t talk.

The forest animals argued

One day, a group of young animals when playing, they suddenly realized that their basket of berries was missing from their place.
They started crying out and started blaming one another.

You took it!” said the rabbit.
No, it was you!” shouted the fox.
Everyone was fighting and shouting, but and no one was listening.

The owl gives advice

The old owl saw this scenario and he flew down and said,
“My dear friends, when you shout, you are not able to hear anything. But when you start listening, you learn everything.”

Suddenly, all the animals stopped and listened to the words of the wise Owl.
Then the turtle said, I think we have put the basket near the big rock.”

Everybody went there and found the basket there. The berries were also there

Lesson learned

All the forest animals were happy now and thanked the wise old owl.
From that day, everybody learned to talk less and listen more, just like the owl.
